Dogs on leads Welcome

This might well be our last chance to visit this spectacular venue as the hall and gardens pass into private ownership during 2019. So we encourage all garden lovers to make the most of this opportunity to come along and explore this treasure.

With over 70 acres of lakes, garden and landscape to explore via over four miles of paths (much tarmac) and with many covered areas to sit visitors can truly make a day of it whatever the weather.

Our plant fair gives the added incentive of meeting many of the country's top specialist nurseries offering a great range of plants.

We first saw the gardens on the BBC Series "Open Gardens" and were amazed at the feat of landscaping undertaken by the late William Podmore OBE in fashioning the gardens from their industrial origins.
