Norfolk Log Planters

Norfolk Log Planters is an award winning local business based in West Norfolk run by Simon who handmakes bespoke garden planters from logs.

Each garden planter is unique and hand carved and is finished with an axe and chisel. Each planter has drainage holes drilled through the base. The outer cut faces are planed smooth. All the cut faces inside and out are treated with a microporous, clear, matt, wood stain.

Simon also removes the bark and then hand planes and stains the log using the same microporous woodstain.

Upright planters are shorter and wider ranging between 9 and 16 inches tall and from 8 to 17 inches across. The hollowed out area has drainage holes. They are made with the bark on or removed. All the cut faces, inside and out, are treated with microporous woodstain. They also come in sets of 3 which are perfect for a corner setting.

Simon always tries to maximise the space for the plants to grow.
